BLUE GROTTO CAVE

ABODE OF SERENITY

A visit to the blue grotto cave on the cost of the island of Capri in Italy is a surreal experience. Known as blue light, it shines through the salt water of the Mediterranean Sea and fills the cave with a serene light like that of a sapphire blue topaz. Ideally one should visit the cave is in the afternoon, as this is the time when the sunlight shines directly on the water, passes through the cavity underwater and emits the blue reflection. The water has a mysterious effects on anything submerged. Due to the coloration and intense blue filter, anything submerged in the waters of the blue grotto appears to be silver in color

STAR ATTRACTION:

The blue light of the cave

THE MOST EXCITING THING YOU CAN DO:

It’s fun to visit the cave by boat, as you have to lie down on the bottom of it so that you can fit through the narrow opening.
